Day 01: Airport – Kitulgala
Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed to Sri Lanka and the group will proceed to Kitulgala, a lovely town on the banks of Kelani River,The 2nd longest river in Sri Lanka. An ideal place for those who want to take a break in the lap of the mountains. Kitulgala is also famous for White Water Rafting, walking in the jungle, visiting pre historic caves, bathing in the river and trekking to Waterfalls. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 02: Kitulgala
After breakfast experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids the distance covered around 7 Km stretch. The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted. Also visit the area of the Academy Award-winning Film The Bridge on the River Kwai which is also a great place to jump in for a refreshing swim. Lunch in an eco-resort. After Lunch do a trekking to Belilena caves located 2000 feet above sea level. Belilena is a very large cave, in which the 12,000-year-old skeletal remains of the prehistoric ‘Balangoda man’ (Homesepiens Balangodensis) have been found. In order to reach the Cave you have to walk through the jungle, close to the Inoya estate. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 03: Kitulgala
After breakfast proceed to visit the famous Aberdeen water fall - a picturesque 98 m (322 ft.) high waterfall. This waterfall is very beautiful and it's covered with a big stone complex behind it’s a trekking of 800 meters through the jungle to the bottom of the fall. Lunch – home lunch. After lunch do a trekking to Kitulgala Virgin forest (Team building Activity ) to explore the rare species of birds, such as Sri Lankan blue magpie, Sri Lankan myna, Yellow tainted barbet, Serendip scopes owl, dollar birds, Ceylon Fagmouth Hill swallow, Black throated munia, Black bulbul etc. Butterflies, Tree nymph, common blue bottles, blue oak leaf, Tawny raja, Red Helen, Blue mormon. Mammals - Purple faced leaf monkey, mouse dear, wild boar, Indian squirrel, stripped squirrel. Lizards - Earless lizard, Kangaroo lizard, hump nosed lizard. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel
Day 04: Kitulgala - Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Kandy. En route visit (optional) Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage the only orphanage in world for the living giants on earth. Orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants as of now there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala, Proceed to Kandy and witness the cultural dance performance. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 05: Kandy – Bentota
After Breakfast do a city tour at Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination. en route to Bentota visit a working tea factory and a garden. Bentota is a place you must visit if you want solitude mixed with natural beauty. (optional) Kosgoda is famous for its sea turtle conservation project operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1988 to protect Sri Lanka’s turtles from extinction. Since then it has released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the wild. Explore the Madu Ganga river a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and there are around 64 islands in the river and lagoon, from a tiny speck housing a deserted shrine to one housing 250 families connected to the mainland with a very long footbridge. Dinner and overnight stay at a Hotel.
Day 06: Bentota – Colombo
After Breakfast proceed to (Optional) attend to water sport activities such as jet Ski, Banana boat Ride-surfing. After lunch proceed to Colombo, do a city tour at Colombo, the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka located on west coast. The city blends together with old colonial type building, high-rise commercial buildings and hotels. It is filled with shopping malls, airline offices bazaars and interesting tourist attractions. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. During the city tour visit BMICH, Colonial style Town hall, old parliament complex replica of Aukana Buddha statue, Galle face green etc. Later in the evening do a shopping tour at Colombo. Dinner and overnight stay at a Colombo.
Day 07: Colombo – Airport
After Breakfast proceed to Airport for departure.
